Dr. John Hinks, PhD
Dr Sanjeev Kumar, PhD
A Sainsbury Management Fellow, Dr. Kumar has over
25 years experience encompassing the fields of protein/antibody
engineering, immunology and animal models. His research career
has involved many fields including cancer, autoimmunity and parasitic
infections / malaria. He has held positions in both academia (at
the Institute of Cancer Research, and the Universities of Nottingham,
Southampton, Yale and London's Imperial and University Colleges)
and industry at an LSE-listed biopharmaceutical company. He is
the author of more than 75 publications in peer reviewed journals
and the inventor on 3 filed patent applications to date. His biography

Suresh Lakhani, ACCA
Mr. Lakhani has been a Fellow Member of the Chartered
Association of Certified Accountants since August 1994. His current
Directorships include the Greenfield Construction Group plc, Greenfield
Construction Ltd, India Star Energy Plc, Hermes Consulting Services
Ltd, Charnwood Investments Ltd and he is a Senior Partner in SRL
Services. His previous Directorships include Silentpoint plc, Wheatley
Group of Companies Ltd and Printink Network Ltd. He has served
as a Group Finance Director (Wheatley Group of Companies, Nottingham)
and as a Group Financial Controller (Fisons Plc, Loughborough).

Dr Rakesh Verma, Msc, PhD
Dr. Verma gained an MSc with Distinction and a
PhD in Immunology from Imperial College London, having previously
completed a degree in Veterinary Medicine - which he obtained with
Honors and a Gold Medal. With over 10 years experience in the UK
biopharmaceutical industry and expertise in immunology, oncology,
molecular biology, antibody and protein engineering he has worked
as Head of a group in an LSE-listed biopharmaceutical company where
he initiated, developed and drove forward concepts and ideas which
have now become important development projects for the company's
product pipeline.

Dr John Hinks, PhD
Dr. Hinks gained his Degree in Biochemistry from
Brunel University, and a PhD from University College London. At
UCL and Welcome he carried out structural and biochemical characterisations
of retroviral proteases, and later studied DNA repair enzymes implicated
in cancer at the Institute of Cancer Research. He has a diverse
experience of the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and chemical industries
gained in posts at Xenova Ltd, Serono Diagnostics, ICI Agrochemicals,
KBP Europe Ltd and Lilly Industries, and as Biophysics Facilities
Manager at the ICR. He is the author of several peer reviewed publications
and an invited speaker at national and international meetings on
the crystallisation of biomolecules and the automation of protein
purification processes.
